Still too much to be done.

It was a beautiful day today for the Komen Race for the Cure here in Columbus-town. Nearly 50,000 participants unleashed a pink swarm on downtown. Miss Davis and I decided to walk, not run, this year, so I was able to take my camera up and get some snaps.

A sea of people at the finish line and looking uptown. This is an hour and forty minutes after the start of the runners. Many people had left, many more were still on the course. Looking uptown it’s hard to get a grasp of the number of people as the course didn’t just come straight down High Street.

A rather large team of pink wigs emerged as I was making my way home.

This little girl asked me to take her picture. She was on the same team as the woman above, 30 or so folks. They were walking to support breast cancer awareness in the African-American community.

It’s a pretty nice day here in Columbus town, down on the Scioto Mile.

My old Nikon D300 sitting on my desk at home… She’s getting a deserved rest as the next generation has come to take her place. I’m not sure if I’ll find the old girl a new home, or keep her around “just in case”.
